From Hartford,  take I-91 North to Lebanon, VT, take Rt 89 south to  exit for Caanan / Enfield, NH, go east on Rt. 4 to Danbury.  Take Rt. 104 East to Rt. 3A North.

Boston (2 hours)
I-93 to Bristol/Newfound Lake, exit 23, to Rt. 104 West to Rt. 3A.

Going north from Bristol, 1/4 mile past the blinking light, at the southeast end of the lake (10 minutes from Exit 23, Route I-93).
